Fullback Larry Csonka was named first team All-NFL by the Associated Press, Pro Football Writers, and the Newspaper Ent. Assoc. after leading the NFL with 5.4 yards per carry and gaining  1,054 yards - third best in the NFL in 1971.  He earned his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection in 1970 as well.
