Quarterback Jack Kemp played in the AFL All Star Game for the third time after leading the AFL with 8.5 yards per pass attempt and finishing sixth in passing yards (2,285) and seventh in passing TDs (13) in 1964.
Free Safety Hagood Clarke returns a punt against the Chargers. He led all AFL returners in punt returns (33) and returned one for a score in 1964.
